Angguk Geleng -C1P2-

Assalamualaikum and good evening...

So here it is, continuation from part 1, here goes part 2....
This entry is quite long. I hope you won't be bored and keep reading. May this little effort bring us much better life in the future.

6. Dakwah
  • In giving dakwah, one should do it wisely. Like Ustaz Pahrol stated in this book, the truth should come with wisdom. Without wisdom, the truth will be rejected. Do it calmly and patiently, do not do it in rush or greedily.
Al-Qur'an (16:126)

  • Ustaz Pahrol also stated that there are 3 target groups with different mode of dakwah:
1.   The Intellectuals: with this group of people, we have to do dakwah using dalil (proof, guide) and argument (peaceful debate) that is apparent/clear until the truth can conquer their minds. Usually this type of people are ego and you have to proof them that they are really wrong. Sometimes, they just want you to convince them, and you have to tackle this tactics wisely and calmly.
2.   The Common Society: mau'izhah hasanah is the best way where this method means using nice advice, good lesson and reminder that is full of encouragements & compliments. Because good advice and encouragements & compliments tends to move people hearts. I advice those who wants to help their friends do this, give advice calmly and say it nicely. While saying dakwah to your friend, strok the back of their hands or just simply their backs slowly. Only do this to your mahram, okay? My friend in university named Hajar (Ajai) used to do this to me and surprisingly, i took what she said to heart and slowly (i think too slow...huuu T.T) i change (better late than never....?eheee^^). Plus if you can, do not stay away from them. Keep encouraging them and give compliments to good deeds that they do.
3.   The Debater and Protester: Debate with them politely, softly, firm but not hard. Do it professionally but not emotionally as what we are trying to find is the truth not the victory and of course, please don't do personal attack. This may lead to a fight and the people might stay away from you. Hence, cause a failure to your dakwah.

7. Syaithan Is Knowledgeable
  • Do you know, syaithan is so knowledgeable, creative and innovative in their mission to stray us away from the straight path. For example, when they know we are busy and we got lots and lots of things to do, they simply use those list of thoughts (our to do list) to distract us during solah. When we have the intention to donate, they simply use our interest (in ice-cream, comics, etc) to make us cancel our good intention. So what we should do is, stay strong and keep our intentions and keep reminding ourselves that what we do is for the sake of ALLAH S.W.T.
  • You can use this tip i always, always use when i have hard time to do good things for example; solah. We know that syaithan is our enemy (besides our nafs). So, what i do is i imagine that i'm a warrior and i have to defeat this syaithan. how to defeat them? just do the good things i intentionally wants to do. and if it is a bad thing, then simply just don't do it. because if you really launch your bad deeds, then you know you have already lost to your sworn enemy. Man, that's bad for your reputation.

8. Qadha & Qadar
  • It is ALLAH's right to plan the way of our life. What has HE plan for us is not ours to object. What you can do is to do the best that you can and believe in HIS plan. What good you do today may not be replied tomorrow but believe that ALLAH will reply it sooner or later. If not now then maybe later in hereafter, insyaALLAH. Be patience, do the best, keep on praying (du'a) and tawakkal (put your all in HIS hand). ALLAH listens and he loves you.

Al-Qur'an (2:286)

9. ALLAH S.W.T
  • Get to know HIM. And if you forget about HIS mightiness recite surah Al-Ikhlas and try to put it in your heart.

Al-Qur'an (112)

10. Amar Makruf Nahi Mungkar
  • It means invites to the good and forbidding evil.
  • Whatever good deeds we do has its own enemy, either its from ourselves (our nafs) or people around us or iblis & their crony.
  • So what we can do is try hard to invite people to do good things, to learn & get to know Islam,  but not to forget to try harder to improve ourselves & attend heavens gardens (party of knowledge such as seminar, talks, kuliyyah, tazkirah, usrah) as much as we can to gain new knowledge and to improve the old ones.
  • However, do this with full sincerity and open hearts, and insyaALLAH your good intentions will easily defeat those enemy. InsyaALLAH, ameen.

Lets try & practice those tips together. I'm learning too.
To be good is to do good or at least try to do good.
But there's a say:

There's no try; it's either Do or Don't.

So i say,
Do it, practice it, and this practice insyaALLAH will keep you do those good things.

There you go...summary of the first chapter of Anggung Geleng....Hope you can understand them...
My English is not that good also, so i try to use this blog as a medium to practice to make them better...
insyaALLAH, bit by bit, i'll soon get there...(^-^)v
